“ Tried out Wild Orchid last weekend after a day of skiing at Sunshine and it exceeded expectations. No wait to be seated on a Sunday evening, got a nice sunny spot near the window. Staff were welcoming and attentive, service was superior. We ordered an assortment of things to share and there was an impressive selection of vegan items. Started out with the winter harvest soup and almond orange salad, both were SO good. Kids ordered the caterpillar roll (cute!), dynamite rolls and maha chicken wings, and I had chili sesame tofu, vegetable salad roll, and tan-tan noodle soup. Rounded it out sharing the double chocolate quinoa cake. All of it was amazing. 5 Stars on food, service, and atmosphere. This is one of our new fave restos, will definitely be back. ”
“ We loved our dinner experience at Wild Orchid! I tried a sake flight and my partner had a lovely sencha tea. We had shrimp tempura, lobster roll and a soft shell crab roll, with an almond orange salad. Everything was really delicious and entirely gluten free! We finished our meal with coconut panacotta and lemon curd mousse. The panacotta was especially delicious, with its mango sesame topping. ”
“ It's our fourth night in Banff and our fourth time eating here. There are 5 of us and everyone found lots of delicious food here. It's actually a paradise for my celiac daughter. She can eat everything here as it's a 100% gluten-free restaurant. The portions are big, and the soups are very generous. I just wish the menu would indicate if the meal is spicy. We ordered tan tan noodle soup for the kids and they couldn't eat much as it was too spicy. The service is always amazing, the food is delicious and fresh. It's definitely our favorite restaurant. ”
“ Great spot for a mixture of Asian Japanese food with a great selection of sake and cocktails. Our server Ruby was awesome and helped us pick some tapas style Plates to share. Busy place so don’t expect it to be quiet but not too loud as we still were able to have a conversation. It was already busy at 6pm so obviously popular as it’s also gluten free so appeal to that crowd as well. The ginger chicken was a better than the beef version and the rolls were very good. Highly recommend a sake flight if you’ve never had sake. ”
“ Service was great, and the staff were very sensitive to food issues. The food was good, everything was gluten free, including the tempura. I was very happy to have dynamite rolls again. (Oh how I missed them when I had to give up wheat.) There are a number of vegan options, and it was always fairly clear what did and did not contain dairy. Even my sister who hates fish enjoyed the food. We will most likely be back every time we are in Canmore ”

The food had great presentation, and the food tasted delicious. The homemade sauces were so tasty as well. I wish every place had somewhere like these fantastic 100% gluten free restaurant! ”
“ We have dined here many times over the years and have never had a bad experience. The food and service is always exceptional. Our last visit we had 2 Ha Ling rolls, Asian street fries, Maha chicken wings, and Chilli shrimp! We loved all the dishes! As with most places in Canmore the view is amazing and the restaurant is comfortable and well decorated. ”
“ Another beautiful restaurant in Canmore. This restaurant is beautiful, and the service is great! We ordered a variety of rolls, soups, and also the bison burger. Everything has a unique flavor and presentation. Good job, guys. Our server was Jen she was amazing ”
